Written for the Learning Magazine accompanying the World of Learning Conference, this article explains the journey we have travelled to really help line managers become talent managers.  Working with Nationwide Building Society, we developed a brand new programme: Identifying and Nurturing Talent.  INT, as we call it, is a tool based workshop that has been proven, very quickly, to equip managers to understand what potential is, to understand their team's strengths and weaknesses and to be able to develop their team whatever their level of 'talent'.  We also spend time using this data to help drive the succession planning within their team.
